BRA GUIDE

Not sure how to measure? Follow our simple step-by-step instructions below to find your perfect fit.

How to Measure Bra Size

Grab a soft measuring tape, wear an unpadded (or lightly lined) bra, and stand straight in front of a mirror. Ensure the tape is snug but not tight.

01

Calculate Band Size

Wrap the measuring tape snugly around your ribcage, directly under your bust. Make sure it is parallel to the ground. Round to the nearest whole number. If the number is even, add 4. If the number is odd, add 5.

Example: 29" underbust = 34 Band (29 + 5)
02

Calculate Cup Size

Wrap the measuring tape loosely around the fullest part of your bust (usually at nipple level). Round to the nearest whole number. Subtract your Band Size from this measurement.

Every 1" difference = 1 Cup Size (1"=A, 2"=B, 3"=C, etc.)
03

Find your perfect fit

Combine your Band Size and Cup Size. This is your starting point! Remember that different styles and brands may fit differently, so don't be afraid to try "Sister Sizes".

Example: 34 Band + 3" Difference (C Cup) = 34C

Measurement Tips

A few things to remember when taking your measurements at home.

Do's
Don'ts

Wear an unpadded, non-minimizing bra.

Stand straight and breathe normally.

Keep the tape level and snug, but not digging in.

Measure over thick clothing or push-up bras.

Slouch or hold your breath while measuring.

Let the tape drop in the back—it must be parallel to the floor.

How to Measure — Panty

To find your perfect panty size, measure the fullest part of your hips. Keep the measuring tape snug and parallel to the floor. Use this hip measurement against our size chart to find your match.

Does Your Bra Fit Correctly?

If your bra doesn't feel comfortable or doesn't look right, here's how to troubleshoot the fit.

Cups

How should they look/feel?

Smooth transition from cup to skin, fully encasing breast tissue.

Spillage over the top or sides (Cup too small).

Wrinkling or gapping in the cup (Cup too large).

Band

How should it look/feel?

Parallel to the floor, snug but comfortable. Provides 80% of support.

Riding up in the back (Band too loose).

Painful red marks or digging in (Band too tight).

Straps

How should they look/feel?

Secure on shoulders without slipping or leaving deep indentations.

Constantly falling down (Band might be too loose).

Digging into shoulders (Cups might be too small).

Common Questions

A well-fitting band should feel snug but not restrictive. You should be able to slide two fingers under the band comfortably. If it leaves deep red marks or digs painfully into your ribs, it is too tight. Consider going up a band size.
Straps usually fall down if the band is too loose, causing the bra to ride up in the back and the straps to lose tension. It can also happen if the straps are set too wide for your shoulders. Try tightening the straps first, and if that doesn't work, you may need a smaller band size.
It is extremely common to have asymmetrical breasts! Always fit your bra to the larger breast. You can tighten the strap slightly on the smaller side or use a removable insert/cutlet to fill out the cup on the smaller side for a smooth silhouette.
We recommend measuring every 6 months, or whenever you experience significant weight changes, hormonal changes, or start a new fitness routine. Your bra size fluctuates more often than you might think!
Sister sizes are bra sizes that hold the same cup volume but have a different band size. If you go up a band size, go down a cup letter to keep the same volume (e.g., 34C -> 36B). If you go down a band size, go up a cup letter (e.g., 34C -> 32D).
